Defining a new grid structure
Sketch and modeling session with product designer to design an emotional and immersive grid structure. Machine interactions can be cold. We played with emotional ambience, flexible grids, and organic forms. And a lot of late nights.

Ethnography, Mental Modeling, and Class Diagramming
While the Design teams continued modeling, I ran and managed a separate research track in-store, and with surveys. The methods were designed to get at behavioral purchase concepts with data points from store associate sell schemas. Research tenets are drawn from linguistics and structural anthropology. After two weeks, integrated results helped the Development teams form pattern recognition via speech and use case diagramming.
Beta-design phase
Design and data points merged into a working prototype. Managed designer and core developers to refine visual patterns that can scale to the data models. There were also client management to control data integrity and flow.
